I have had the privilege of meeting hundreds and hundreds of interesting and impressive people over the years. I have also been blessed by the tutelage of some very wise individuals.

These teachers have shown me by lessons taught, and by lives lived, what it means to impact the world for the better. They taught me directly, and sometimes I learned life’s lessons whether they meant to teach me or not. I simply watched them do their thing.

Over the years I have felt the need to express some of the ideas and insights that have been blessed gifts from these remarkable souls. Many of these blessings are included in this book.

I have communicated these thoughts and ideas, here, through the lens of residents in a nursing home. Although the individuals and details presented in this book are figments of my imagination, the lessons they teach are based on the lessons taught me by real people I have known, some in nursing homes.

My goal in presenting this information is simply to provoke thought and dialogue. I do not claim to have any special knowledge or insight.

If someone who is a real expert, a real mover and shaker, is inspired by this work to act for the good, our world will be a better place. That would be nice.
